It supports Rocky Linux and develops enterprise Linux distributions, workload orchestration, cluster provisioning, and automation products for enterprises, government agencies, and research institutions.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and maintain application features using Python for the backend and React/TypeScript for the frontend
•Contribute to additional projects built in Go as needed
•Use AI-assisted development tools effectively and validate and correct AI-generated output
•Collaborate with the engineering team to ship production-quality code quickly
•Participate in architecture decisions and help define application stack best practices
•Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve full-stack issues
•Support other internal engineering initiatives as bandwidth allows
Requirements
•Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
•Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and NPM
•Ability to work at a fast pace and handle high volumes of work
•Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools and the critical thinking to assess their output
•Comfort working across the full stack, with an emphasis on backend systems
•Strong problem-solving skills and a self-directed work ethic
•Friendly, collaborative, humble, honest, and improvement-oriented attitude
•6–8+ years of professional software development experience
•Proven track record building and shipping production applications in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
Nice to have
•Experience with Go
•Familiarity with Ascender, AWX, or Ansible automation platforms
•Experience with event-driven architectures, infrastructure automation, or DevOps tooling
