AI/LLM Engineer and Frontend (UI/UX) Developer
We are a young technology startup building a web product based on artificial intelligence. We are currently forming a small but strong core team that will directly participate in building the product from scratch, be able to influence decisions, and grow together with the company.
(Note: Through this posting we are looking for two different specialists at the same time. Based on the requirements below, you can apply for the direction that suits you.)
Main responsibilities
For the AI/LLM Engineer direction:
•Design and develop an AI agent inside the product from scratch.
•Integrate LLM models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others) into the product via API.
•Build prompts, agent workflows, and tool/function calling logic.
•Ensure agent responses are based only on verified data and minimize hallucination.
•Build an evaluation system that measures response quality through test sets, metrics, and automated checks.
•Monitor and optimize model costs (token usage), response speed, and stability.
•Test new models and approaches, present results to the team.
•Work closely with the data scientist, frontend developer, and tech lead.
For the Frontend Developer (UI/UX) direction:
•Develop the web application interface based on React and TypeScript.
•Create and maintain a unified design system for the product based on a ready component library (shadcn/ui or similar).
•Build a responsive interface that works correctly on all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
•Design and build the interface for working with the AI agent (real-time response display/streaming, user review and editing).
•Design and implement all interface states (empty, error, loading).
•Integrate with backend API and organize state management.
•Ensure page speed and accessibility.
•Quickly improve the interface based on user feedback.
•Write tests for components and maintain code quality.
•Work closely with the AI engineer and tech lead.
Requirements
For the AI/LLM Engineer:
•Strong knowledge of Python.
•Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (at least one fully working or launched project).
•Deep understanding of prompt engineering, function calling, and RAG principles.
•Experience working with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar).
•Skills in working with REST API, JSON, and Git.
•Ability to read technical documentation in English freely.
For the Frontend Developer (UI/UX):
•Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript.
•Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
•Experience working with Tailwind CSS.
•Skills in preparing layouts and prototypes in Figma.
•Knowledge of UX/UI principles; good taste in typography, composition, and color.
•Experience with REST API, asynchronous requests, and Git.
•Mandatory requirement: provide a portfolio including both design and code samples (GitHub or live sites).
Additional advantageous skills
•For the AI/LLM direction: experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph frameworks; experience building LLM response evaluation (evals) systems; familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js; personal AI projects on GitHub.
•For the Frontend direction: shadcn/ui, Radix; Vite, React Router, TanStack Query; experience writing tests with Vitest, Testing Library, or Playwright; experience building AI or chat interfaces and design systems; knowledge of English.

Working conditions and other important information
•Employment type: Full-time.
