About the Role
You will oversee accounts payable operations, supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, payment runs, and month-end activities. You will lead and support a small team, resolve supplier and payment issues, maintain controls, analyse creditor balances, and improve payable processes.

Responsibilities
•Lead, coach and support the Accounts Payable team
•Manage workloads and priorities
•Oversee supplier statement reconciliations
•Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
•Maintain records of outstanding items and ageing
•Act as the primary contact for supplier queries
•Ensure accurate invoice coding, approvals and documentation
•Support purchase-order management and supplier remittances
•Review aged creditor balances and recommend payment priorities
•Prepare and review payment runs
•Coordinate month-end Accounts Payable reconciliations
•Support accruals, prepayments, journals and balance-sheet reconciliations
•Report reconciliation status, risks and unresolved issues
