Responsibilities
•Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling bank and account balances
•Prepare financial statements and management reports
•Assist with budgeting and forecasting
•Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
•Process invoices and payments
•Monitor accounts receivable and payable
•Support audits and financial reviews
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide accurate, timely financial information
•Help improve internal controls
•Contribute to the optimization of accounting processes and systems
Requirements
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting; experience preparing statements such as balance sheets and income statements
•Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Excel and other spreadsheet tools for data analysis and reconciliation
•Understanding of Armenian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance procedures
•Attention to detail, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions
•Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance colleagues
•Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
•Relevant experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within holding companies, investment firms, or multi-entity organizations
•High level of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to ethical financial practices
Nice to Have
•Experience supporting audits is an advantage
•Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA or local equivalents) are a plus
