MARTE

Account executive in advertising campaigns

In short

This agency account executive role manages the day-to-day running of advertising campaigns, activations, and brand projects for Marte, coordinating between strategy, creative, production, paid media, and other teams. It requires 4–5 years of agency experience, strong organizational and writing skills, fluent Spanish and English, and advanced comfort using LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude) in daily agency work. It's an onsite, full-time freelance position in Barcelona with a real possibility of becoming permanent.

Description
We are looking to bring on someone with demonstrable agency experience (4–5 years) to join Marte's accounts team. The role is for someone with good judgment and a strong desire to help bring projects to life: from the brief and initial organization through to coordinating materials, timelines, deliverables, internal follow-up, and reporting.
Responsibilities
•Lead the day-to-day management of campaigns, activations, and brand projects.
•Turn briefs, meetings, and conversations into clear next steps.
•Prepare status updates, timelines, tracking documents, and operational summaries.
•Coordinate materials with strategy, creative, content, production, paid media, CRM, design, technology, and social media teams, depending on the project.
•Track deliverables: assets, copy, creative materials, landing pages, content, reports, or working documents.
•Identify pending items, blockers, questions, and dependencies before they become problems.
•Help with benchmarks, reference analysis, campaign reviews, and documenting learnings.
•Take part in preparing internal and external meetings: agenda, materials, minutes, decisions, and next steps.
•Keep project information organized, up to date, and actionable.
Requirements
•Demonstrable experience (4–5 years in an agency) and a genuine interest in accounts, campaigns, communication, and project management.
•Organized, quick to understand context, and able to turn noise into concrete tasks.
•Good judgment to distinguish the urgent from the important.
•Good writing skills.
•Ability to work on several projects at once without losing track of them.
•Curiosity about strategy, creativity, digital culture, media, content, and new ways of working with AI.
•A proactive attitude: not just waiting for tasks, but anticipating what is missing, what needs organizing, or what would be worth asking.
•Very good written and spoken Spanish and English.
•Good command of collaborative work tools: Google Workspace, Notion, Asana, or similar.
•Ability to organize information, take useful notes, and create clear documents.
•Advanced knowledge of using LLMs in the daily work of an agency (ChatGPT Work/Codex, Claude, or similar tools).
Nice to have
•Familiarity with digital campaigns, paid media, CRM, landing pages, reporting, or creative production processes.
•Understanding of brands' digital and social media context.
•Interest in cultural, editorial, brand, or content projects.
•Ability to work with incomplete information and help turn it into an organized plan.
•A good eye for spotting inconsistencies, errors, duplications, or weak points in a document or campaign.
Conditions
Freelance position, with a real possibility of a permanent contract.
