The 3DT Materials & Process supports our pipeline projects for Quality & Compliance (QC), usually when there are cGMP factors. The propensity for defects is different with 3D printing vs. other manufacturing techniques, and the challenge in understanding, reducing or eliminating, or designing around, is largely burdened onto the end user. •Identify and document equipment failures and part defects to improve or expand our Quality Control checks and Go-NoGo inspections and to help train new automated systems
B) Continuous improvements and R&D
•Identify workflows in lab Dev & Ops and 3D printing production for improvement opportunities
•Execute on research to expand our capabilities, such as 3DP for injection molding, 3DP of tablets/pills, or wetted path components for bioprocessing
C) Material characterization
•Utilize material characterization and imaging equipment (e.g. micro-CT, izod impact, HDT) to improve understanding of defects and improve processes
D) Side gig opportunities
